FAMILIES FOR EFFECTIVE
AUTISM TREATMENT

FRESNO/MADERA COUNTY

1/8/2009
FEAT-FMC

www.feat-fmc.org

This is the first News Letter of 2009. Autism continues to be the fastest growing developmental disability among children world wide. The demand for support services, for children with autism, is very challenging and expensive. Unfortunately States, Countries, and even world wide, society is struggling to balance the costs verses income. Children with autism are powerless to compete in the arena. Parents and informed concerned persons are children with autism's only chance to have a place at the table. The autism health crisis is going to be a very difficult problem to solve in 2009. As the caretakers of our precious children with autism we must not leave any book unopened, rock unturned, service untried, or public official not approached. Our responsibilities are clear; the road to success is not.
